Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
This project will help the company determine which product categories are best suited for early adoption of its local-availability commerce model. While the platform has broad potential across retail, early success depends on prioritizing product types where immediacy, price point, and customer urgency create clear value over traditional e-commerce fulfillment.

Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
Students will research consumer purchasing behavior to identify product categories most likely to benefit from same-day local access, such as high-consideration items, urgent-need purchases, or larger-ticket goods. The analysis will evaluate factors such as purchase urgency, margin structure, retailer readiness, brand participation incentives, and messaging that will appeal to prospective brand and retail clients. The resulting recommendations will guide leadership on which verticals to pursue first, helping focus sales, partnerships, and platform optimization during the company’s critical early growth phase.

Project Synopsis: Expected Results
A defined and actionable approach to engaging brands and retailers that are most likely to engage with the company is needed. Ideally this project would identify high-propensity companies that would fit well into the company's strategy for early growth.
